Uganda offers amazing wildlife experiences; most notably the chance to track mountain gorillas and chimpanzees who draw in the majority of visitors to the country.
The mix of habitats from equatorial rainforest, towering mountains, crater lakes and vast rivers provides the perfect environment for a huge range of mammals (see the Big 5 amongst many others) and over 1000 species of birds. There are a number of ways to view wildlife – on foot, on traditional game drives (and night drives), cruising along on boats, gliding across lakes in canoes and even hot air ballooning. We believe that when you visit Uganda you will come away with a hugely varied and rewarding wildlife experience well in excess of what you might expect.
