This is one of Whistler’s most memorable winter evenings and a real favourite for anyone who wants something a bit different. The adventure starts with a guided snowmobile ride up Blackcomb Mountain, following wide trails through the forest as the lights of the village gradually disappear below. It’s not about speed, more about the sense of being out in the mountains at night, with the snow packed around the trees and the views opening up as you climb higher.

At the top you reach Crystal Hut, a cosy wooden cabin perched above the valley. Inside, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with fondue served by candlelight and the smell of baking drifting through the room. It feels relaxed and a little bit magical, especially on clear nights when you can step outside and see the lights of Whistler far below.

The ride back down is just as enjoyable, with the glow of the snow and the quiet of the forest making it a really atmospheric way to end the evening. It’s a fun, memorable experience that combines a bit of adventure with a great meal in a setting you wouldn’t normally get to enjoy.
