Honey harvesting occurs four times a year around Umm Qais, with each season producing different tastes of honey depending on the flowers. Yousef, a passionate beekeeper will demonstrate the entire honey production process, including a visit to Yousef’s workshop to extract the honey. This 3-hour experience can be combined with a visit to the historical site of Umm Qais to showcase the livelihoods and passion of the local people and that there is more to Jordan than ancient ruins.
