Thompson River Float Trip

This is a scenic trip designed for those who wish to experience the magnificent scenery of the area, but don’t want the adrenaline thrills of white-water rafting. During this three-hour adventure you gently float along the Thompson River in an inflatable raft, appreciating the scenery at a slower pace and keeping an eye out for wildlife both in the water and at the river’s edge – salmon, eagles and bears are often seen. You guide will also share folklore and history of the area, from the native culture to the gold rush explorers, giving a lovely rounded background to Wells Gray.
