Excursion Overview
In need of some snorkelling, diving or laid back beach time? The Cham Islands is the ideal place to go...Situated off the coast of Central Vietnam, Cham Island Biosphere Reserve boasts white sandy beaches, crystal clear waters and abundant coral and marine life. You depart Hoi An in the moderately early morning and its then a 45 minutes speedboat ride over to the island. You arrive at Bai Lan Village, a small fishing community worth exploring to see how the locals live. From here on it is all sun-bathing and swimming. A seafood lunch is at Bai Trong Beach, which is then followed by more time for basically beach-bum relaxation and some snorkelling from this idyllic beach.
You will get back to Hoi An circa 2pm.
If you want to go diving, then this is possible as an optional extra and a PADI certificate will need to be shown in advance.

Usually book our own holidays but the trip we wanted to Vietnam and Cambodia was far too complicated, Lisa was excellent from start to finish, the arrangements were seamless. Guides and drivers were amazing, hotels were perfectly located to allow us to walk and explore. Food walking tours were great and the tuk tuk tour fantastic. We covered everything we wanted and more including the blessings by the Buddhist monk, climbing inside the cu chi tunnels and cocktails in Raffles. Couldn’t recommend Lisa and HA any more fantastic service.
