Excursion Overview
Gal Oya is one of Sri Lanka's least visited and most untouched national parks. The park is home to a huge variety of wildlife, including deer, jackals, elephant, sloth bear, marsh mugger crocodiles, and an array of exotic birds. This jeep safari takes you into the Nilgala section of the park, one of the most untouched areas known for it's medicinal plants and endemic birds. Along with the jeep safari you will enjoy a walk with an expert naturalist. The jeep safari normally lasts around four hours.
