Afternoon game drives in Ranthambore National Park begin after lunch, usually between 2.30pm and 3.30pm (depending on the time of year). Your vehicle and the zone you visit will be allocated on arrival. These decisions are made by the Indian Government Park authorities and are out of our hands. You are likely to see plenty of birds and deer, from barking deer to Indian gazelles whilst driving through the park, as well as some beautiful scenery. If the lakes aren't too dry (depending on when you travel) you'll be able to see lots of birdlife too and if you're lucky, you could spot an elusive tiger.
We offer tailor-made holidays to suit a wide range of tastes. Our expert Clare is dedicated to all things India and is here to help you plan your perfect trip.
