Home to over 150 bird species, Bako National Park is a fantastic spot for birdwatching. Although many of these birds can be seen around the rest houses and central park HQ, we recommend hitting the trails to enjoy the best sightings. Serious bird watchers should ensure they bring a good pair of binoculars and the Pocket Guide to the Birds of Borneo book.
