Traditional meal and home stay

A chance to learn more about traditional life in Uganda - and try delicious local fare. Some communities welcome visitors to give them an insight into their way of life and there is the opportunity to try a variety of dishes, accompanied by herbal teas and fresh fruit platters. Extend your time to experience more of the local culture with an overnight homestay - assist your hosts with food preparation, share a meal and stories as the evening draws in, and perhaps finish with the local children showing off their dance steps. This is a sensitively managed and authentic opportunity to discover more about the traditions and way of life of local Ugandans.
