Nature Drives - Windhoek

For those indulging themselves at the beginning or end of a Namibia itinerary with a stay at Gocheganas, the private nature reserve harbours some real treasures. Guided nature drives reveal spectacular scenery and potentially some fantastic wildlife for a location so close to the capital. There are diverse antelope species, giraffe, zebra, cheetah, and white rhino, all of which you have a decent chance of spotting. With night drives possible on private land, you may even see leopard and some truly rare nocturnal sightings such as pangolin and porcupine, while secluded sundowners are a relaxing means to enjoy the tranquillity of the reserve.
