This guided tour takes you to the scenic Athabasca Valley to look for a range of wildlife that can often be seen here – osprey, bald eagles, big horn sheep, elk, deer and bears. The guides are experts in the ecology and natural history of the area so this excursion is also an excellent opportunity to learn about how the animals contribute to the rich diversity of the National Park. The tour takes place in the early evening, which is when the wildlife is at its most active, and you will remain in a comfortable mini-coach at a safe distance from the animals. However, there will be frequent stops to take photos and admire the spectacular scenery.
