Excursion Overview
Experience the authentic culture of Hanoi as the city comes alive in the early hours. Your private guided tour will begin with a visit to the bustling Long Bien market, the biggest fruit and vegetable wholesale market in North Vietnam. Here you can witness buyers crowded around open air trucks, money counters holding court over their stalls and motos nipping down the narrow aisles - an immersive and incredibly fun start to the day.
From here head to Hoan Kiem Lake on foot and pass groups of locals enjoying their morning exercise in the parks and witness the city waking up. Join in with a Tai Chi class or a spot of aerobics before you continue on your way to a busy neighbourhood restaurant to enjoy the most famous Vietnamese dish; Pho, a traditional noodle soup full of flavour!
Sit down with your guide and learn about life in Vietnam, as well as picking up some new language skills before take a walk around the city streets and finally stopping to enjoy a traditional coffee.

Usually book our own holidays but the trip we wanted to Vietnam and Cambodia was far too complicated, Lisa was excellent from start to finish, the arrangements were seamless. Guides and drivers were amazing, hotels were perfectly located to allow us to walk and explore. Food walking tours were great and the tuk tuk tour fantastic. We covered everything we wanted and more including the blessings by the Buddhist monk, climbing inside the cu chi tunnels and cocktails in Raffles. Couldn’t recommend Lisa and HA any more fantastic service.
