Excursion Overview
Doc Let Beach is a beautiful beach with near perfect sands and calm tropical waters, only a one hour drive from Nha Trang town. Its worth the trip, as this beach is most often deserted, totally without footprints! It is the perfect place to relax, more private and exclusive than Nha Trang's beachfront. If you are staying in one of the resorts surrounding the town, then it offers a change of scenery and an escape from the confines of the perimeter fence!
There is nothing more on offer other than to relax - swimming and sunbathing - although the drive to Doc Let does take you past some small mountains and along some idyllic coastline. You can stop at Ninh Thuy, a small and charming fishing village, which provides insight in to local daily life. On the return trip to Nha Trang, visit picturesque Ninh Diem salt fields. Salt water is directed into fields and left for days to evaporate. The white mineral is then removed and left to dry before harvesting.
You may choose to have your resort hotel prepare a lunch for a beach picnic or, alternatively, you could dine at the White Sand Doc Let Resort - the only accommodation on the beach.

Usually book our own holidays but the trip we wanted to Vietnam and Cambodia was far too complicated, Lisa was excellent from start to finish, the arrangements were seamless. Guides and drivers were amazing, hotels were perfectly located to allow us to walk and explore. Food walking tours were great and the tuk tuk tour fantastic. We covered everything we wanted and more including the blessings by the Buddhist monk, climbing inside the cu chi tunnels and cocktails in Raffles. Couldn’t recommend Lisa and HA any more fantastic service.
