Excursion Overview
Osaka has a lot to do - though for most people this will involve consuming calories, going to be bed far too late, and possibly filling your suitcases with all the incredible shopping on offer. This is also one of the more family-friendly cities in Japan though, and a great place to end a trip if you have kids in tow.
The Osaka Waterfront is truly a place of wonder. Japan's very own Universal Studios - opened in 2001 - will give you all the thrills and fun you would expect from the name. With a featured Harry Potter and Jurassic Park section, and a recently opened Super Nintendo Land, you could happily spend a few days here.
Don't miss out on the world-class Kaiyukan Aquarium though - just across the water and linked by frequent ferries. With a gargantuan tank that spans several storeys, this is one of the best places to see the ocean life of the Pacific without getting your feet wet.

A highly knowledgeable and professional company that looks after you and your particular needs from beginning to end. Japan was my third trip through them and their team in the office, Fenton in particular, their local guides and their on the ground back up staff were brilliant. Faultless is the one word that springs to mind and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Emma planned our trip to Japan with us expertly. We explored Tohoku and had some wonderful guides. The travel, the hotels, and the advice and support we were given was just what we had hoped for. The adventure was truly memorable and totally enjoyable. A truly superb experience. Thank you!
