Your guide will escort you between studios and stores, dotted around the various chaya (teahouse) historical districts of Kanazawa, to learn more about the rich local heritage. You will get the chance to watch (and sometimes try) a number of traditional techniques, including working with gold-leaf, kimono-dying and maki-e (decorative lacquerwear).
