Excursion Overview
As the sun is setting, head out into the atmospheric Higashichaya neighbourhood to learn all about Kanazawa's unique history, culture and - most importantly - chow down on some of the city's best delicacies.
Your guide will take you through the labyrinthine alleyways and streets of this quaint part of the city, the haunt of local Geisha who still entertain guests in the wooden teahouses. After imparting some historical tales, the guide will take you to a local izakaya (casual Japanese restaurant) for drinks and a hearty meal. Enjoy a variety of seasonal dishes and experience the food culture of this charming city just like its residents do.
