Hida Countryside Cycling

Only 15-minutes by train from the busy-by-comparison Takayama, is the slow-paced and picturesque town of Hida-Furakawa.  Immerse yourself in the rural routine of this community by hopping on a bike and exploring the quaint streets and verdant fields.

Gently pedal your way along the Seto River where fisherman sit patiently, enjoy the panorama of rice fields and alpine peaks, and take stops in the small villages that are scattered across the landscape.  Your guide will lead you and the group around the stunning countryside this morning, providing you with equipment and a quick safety demonstration, and will loop you back to the train station in time to return to Takayama for some lunch.
