Excursion Overview
Nagarhole National Park is based around a reservoir, formed when the Kabini River was dammed. Today a naturalist will take you out by boat, and from the water you can watch the animals as they come to drink and bathe at the water’s edge. The best time to visit is during the hotter months of March and April, before the monsoon, and when the other water sources in the park have dried up.
