Houseboat - Day Cruise

Boarding in time for lunch you will cruise along the Backwaters in your traditional boat, modernised for the purpose of sightseeing.  Meandering along the canals and rivers, flanked by dense greenery and coconut palms, you will see tiny villages and local people going out their everyday way of life. There are also several small churches on the banks of the canals and if you wish you can stop and visit them. Your crew will serve you a traditional lunch on board, possibly on a banana leaf in true Keralan style! The relaxing day cruise lasts for approximately three to four hours and is a wonderful way to enjoy this idyllic and quintessential part of Kerala.
