Enjoy a boat trip along the Ganges at sunset to experience Varanasi's exotic sounds, such as the temple bells that signify the start of the evening aarti ceremonies.  In the distance you will see the fires of the crematoriums as the last of the cremations are performed, just before the sun goes down. You'll also see the last few pilgrims taking a dip in the river.  Whilst the city is still busy, crowded and noisy, life quietens along the river as the sun starts to set.
