Meikles Hotel

The Meikles Hotel was built in 1915 and is the best known 5* hotel in Harare. It is located in the centre of Harare, overlooking Africa Unity Square (once known as Cecil Square) and its lush, landscaped gardens. The hotel is ideally located for exploring what the city has to offer such as The National Gallery of Zimbabwe and The National Museums and Monuments, as well as plenty of shops, restaurants, bars and pubs. The hotel itself also has a superb restaurant, the La Fontaine Grill Room, as well as bars and lounges: The Explorers Club, The Tangada Tea Lounge and the Can Can Cocktail bar, as well as a rooftop pool deck, gym and spa.

Meikles has 306 rooms over two wings the South Wing and the North Wing. There are various room types on offer and the South Wing has inter-connecting rooms available for families as children of all ages are welcome at the hotel.
