Overview
Family holidays are a tricky mix of getting the balance right for everyone, most of us have children here so we know some of the difficulties and what makes life easier ‘on the ground’.
Tanzania, specifically northern Tanzania (Tarangire, Lake Manyara, the Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti), offers a particularly good family experience. There are a good variety of accommodation options available with great facilities to keep everyone busy with the icing on the cake being a private safari vehicle. So, you don’t need to worry about disturbing anyone else and, if you want to cut short a safari for whatever reasons this is not a problem at all. Our guides in Tanzania are particularly good at communicating with children and keeping them interested in their surroundings.
