Bushman's Kloof rock art

There is a remarkable amount of San rock-art in this part of the world, and for those keen to see it, you should probably stay at Bushman’s Kloof. They have a lot of examples on their land and make daily excursions to see them; indeed they even have a Resident Archaeologist and Curator in recognition of the importance of their rock art collection. Your guides will explain the significance of the various paintings: they cover many elements of the early San life, from hunting to the importance of their shaman. Because Bushman’s Kloof is private land, they are able to protect this wonderful inheritance, and this thankfully also means you’ll have the paintings to yourself, so you can just admire them in peace, for as long as you want.
