Travelling in a 4WD vehicle, your driver / guide will access some truly precipitous spots for sweeping views and panoramic photo opportunities. Late afternoon drives can forge out to remote, beautiful sundowner spots, before you are driven back with the sky waxing towards darkness and the scenery taking on a more eerie quality. Guests at Zebra River Lodge might enjoy longer drives out to a natural spring, where you can relax under a canopy of trees next to crystal clear waters, perhaps even taking a refreshing dip if the water levels are favourable. Although there are surprisingly good numbers and diversity of wildlife up in the mountains, some of which you will see on a drive, it is more about the evocative scenery than a traditional game drive.
