The Shinta Mani Angkor and Bensley Collection Pool Villas (to give it its official title) is a winning combination of boutique chic and admirable social responsibility,  A luxurious, highly sophisticated sanctuary, from the imagination of Bill Bensley, one of the world’s hottest hotel designers,  Quirky and characterful, the hotel combines the previously separate Shinta Mani properties, allowing all guests to enjoy everything at their own pace.

The utterly cool, contemporary style of Shinta Mani Angkor offers couples and friends a great base to unwind after long days at the temples of Angkor – lounge by the glittering charcoal grey lap pool, grab a refreshing cocktail in Bensley’s bar or head to the spa for an incredibly rejuvenating massage. Whilst the pool isn’t a sun bather’s paradise and the style might not seem overly family-friendly, you need not worry; step across the road and immerse yourself in the tropical paradise of Shinta Mani Shack. Continuing to ooze the same levels of style and sophistication, the Resort offers a larger, lighter feel with a huge central pool in the courtyard garden and an inviting poolside dining room and terrace. Located just across the street from each other, both properties provide the same impeccable service 24/7 and guests can use the facilities of each resort throughout their stay – we know you deserve the best of both worlds!

An important difference between the Shinta Mani and other comparable properties are the philanthropic principles on which it is operated. This is a contemporary luxury hotel with a beating heart. Actively engaged in local projects, there is a $5 donation from every room night to its foundation. Guests can get involved if they wish, but there is no pressure to do so – simply staying is benefiting the local community. You are well-advised to simply relax in the luxuriant and elegant surroundings.

In keeping with the philanthropic agenda, the hotel also features an Institute of Hospitality for local Cambodian people, which takes young adults from areas of high risk and provides them with the opportunity to learn and improve their economic welfare and that of their families. The restaurant is run by the hospitality institute and specialises in traditional Khmer food, with cooking classes available on the Library Terrace.

The hotel is centrally located in the heart of the old French Quarter, on a tree-lined quiet street within easy walking distance to the many restaurants and night market.
