Day 1
Depart on your flight to Siem Reap
Day 2
Arrive into Siem Reap, where you will be met by your private driver and guide to transfer to your hotel. Check in and enjoy the afternoon at your leisure to relax and freshen up after your flight. In the early evening, you will be picked up at your hotel by vintage vespa to start your exciting street food tour around Siem Reap - a fantastic way to start your Cambodian holiday!
Day 3
Today enjoy a cycling tour around the Temples of Angkor with your private driver and guide. Your sightseeing today is extremely flexible and your guide will discuss with your the temples you want to visit, and make suggestions to you, to ensure that you have an unforgettable day at Angkor. After your sightseeing, enjoy some time at your leisure - we highly recommend a local massage in town or at your hotel to revive. This evening visit the incredible Phare Circus.
Day 4
Capture the beauty of Banteay Srei in the early morning light as you set off on a day exploring around Siem Reap with your guide. Visit Kbal Spean, a remarkable ancient Hindu site. You will also get the chance to meet inspiring locals hoping to impact Cambodia’s future. A visit to the Landmine Museum can also be fitted into the day, a great way to learn about the history of Cambodia. An evening free to explore the markets around town or dinner in one of the many fabulous restaurants.
Day 5
A final day in Siem Reap can be spent either on a visit to the famous Tonle Sap Lake for a boat ride around the floating villages, or to the Kulen Elephant Forest for an ethical elephant encounter. For the more adventurous we can arrange activities such as quad biking, horse riding or zip lining!
Day 6
This morning continue by road to Phnom Penh, making a stop at Sambor Prei Kuk and local villages along the way. In the afternoon check in to your hotel in the city and spend some time at your leisure to explore the city on foot or by tuk tuk. This evening we recommend heading out to a mesmerising traditional dance performance by Cambodia Living Arts.
Day 7
Explore the delights of Khmer cuisine with a hands-on culinary experience in Phnom Penh. Spend a day alongside a professional chef to understand the food and culture of Cambodia. Shop for local ingredients at a vibrant fresh market then use traditional techniques to prepare a delicious Khmer meal.
Day 8
Your Cambodian discovery comes to an end today, but not without an insightful morning tour to discovery the history of the Khmer Rouge, and if time permits a look at the architecture of the city. At the end of the day you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight.
Day 9
Arrive back to the UK today, with fond memories of your Cambodian discovery.
