After time relaxing, enjoy a guided visit to the Angkor Park in time for sunset. Admire the wonderful carvings and get a good seat to watch the sun dip behind the temples, a great way to start your Cambodian adventure.

Your day begins with a visit to the temples of Bayon, Angkor Thom and Ta Phrom, amongst others. You will be accompanied by your private guide and driver, ensuring the day is completely focused on your interests. You can also explore by either bicycle or tuk tuk, or even vintage jeep! Spend time relaxing by the pool this afternoon or continue to explore the temples. End the day with a street food tour around town.

Day 5
Leave Siem Reap and head into the countryside, travelling overland to Kratie, stopping along the way at the overgrown and rarely visited temples of Koh Ker, enjoy a local Khmer lunch and continue this afternoon to your hotel on Koh Trong Island. On this Mekong island experience typical Cambodian village life, where people’s livelihood largely depends on rice farming and fruits cultivation (Koh Trong is famous for its pomelo, a grapefruit like fruit)
Day 6
An early morning boat ride will take you into the Mekong River for a chance to spot the rare Irrawaddy Dolphin. Stop for lunch at a local tourism training centre to help young Cambodians in their quest for a better future. The afternoon is at leisure to relax or explore the island of Koh Trong by bicycle or on foot.
Day 7
Depart early from Kratie for the drive to Banlung, where you can visit the Eisan Reclining Buddha for panoramic views of the provincial capital. Next head to a local family home for lunch where you will learn about the lives of the Tampuon tribes. After a warm welcome from the tribal chief it's time for a walk around Yeak Laom, a lake created from a volcanic eruption around 700,000 years ago. Spend the evening relaxing at your local lodge.
Day 8
Today explore the rural tribal communities that live in the Ratanakiri countryside. You will travel by boat, on foot, through forest and can even try your hand at some gold panning. A picnic lunch is served and there will be ample time to swim in the rivers and waterfalls during your day of adventure. If you are seeking more wildlife then we can also arrange some fantastic Gibbon trekking in Eastern Cambodia!
Day 9
In the morning drive to Sen Monorom in Mondulkiri. Later spend the day exploring the surrounding area where you can see impressive waterfall of Bou Sraa, local tribes and coffee plantations. There are several activities to experience at the Ecopark, including a zipline and a forest trek to the base of the lower falls.
Day 10
Today is a highlight for many, a visit to the Elephant Valley Project. A sanctuary for elephants within a 1,500 hectare reserve where the elephants can roam and learn how to be semi wild elephants again. Here, hike out to meet one group of elephants in the morning in their natural forest habitat. On this immersive experience, spend half the day with the elephants and also give back by volunteering and then join locals, staff, and other volunteers on the many projects it takes to keep the sanctuary running.
Day 11
Depart Mondulkiri for the overland transfer to Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia. Along the way visit Kompong Cham to see the iconic bamboo bridge. A final stop is made at Skoun, a village famous for its curious roadside snacks including grilled frogs, scorpions, and tarantulas (but they also have amazing fruits on offer if you aren't feeling too adventurous). Arrive to your hotel and take a walk to the night markets or bustling waterfront for drinks and dinner, or simply relax at your hotel.
Day 12
Today explore the Royal Palace complex and the Silver Pagoda, and later you will visit the sombre museum of S-21 and the Killing Fields, two sites related to the Khmer Rouge regime. Enjoy an evening sunset cruise.
