The Etendeka Trails have two rustic overnight camps which make the most of sleeping under the breathtaking desert sky. The camps have five sleeping platforms raised off the ground with comfortable beds. Your bed for the night is a ‘bed-roll’ containing a 100% cotton linen sheet, down duvet and pillow for your comfort. Each sleeping platform has its own toilet and basin attached to the platform and there are communal bucket showers nearby. The platforms are open ended but covered by a shade that can be folded away at night if you would like to fall asleep to the beauty of the open skies. Wholesome meals are cooked over, and enjoyed around, the open fire with your guide being your host and companion.
Camp One / River Camp looks out over a water hole next to an established trail used by wildlife and Camp Two / Hill Camp, lies over-hanging the cliffs on top of Crystal Mountain, named after the incredible show of crystal quartz and agate that sparkle against its ancient rocky outcrops.
