A round trip from the guesthouse through the village and back again is an easy walk and takes an hour or two. As well as the chance to see the traditional architectural techniques up-close, you can also wonder through the terraced gardens that supply much of the food for the village and visit the craft shops set up by the locals to help support themselves and allow them to stay in the village, keeping their traditions alive. There are one or two viewpoints on the edge of the village, looking out over the dramatic slopes and cliffs of Wadi Dana that help make this an enjoyable walk.
