The most luxurious of the Kapama lodges, Karula has public areas that are incredibly stylish, with large windows, whitewashed wood and neutral, earthy tones. There’s a variety of accommodation on offer; there are gorgeous, luxury safari tents combining style and canvass effortlessly, and then vast suites and even more vast superior suites. The sense of space is only heightened by the floor-to-ceiling fold-away windows, and the décor is as impressive as in the public areas.

The Kapama Private Game Reserve has become a key part of our Greater Kruger Park portfolio. It is located close to the small airport at Hoedspruit, so is quick to get to and includes airport transfers in the price. It is also very well stocked with game: over the course of several game drives you will almost certainly see all of the Big Five of lion, leopard, buffalo, lion and elephant, as well as a host of other big game and plains game.
