Short internal flight onto the Kruger. On arrival in Hoedspruit you will be met and transferred to your safari lodge where you will stay for three nights on safari. Enjoy the game drive this afternoon.

You have twice-daily game drives with professional rangers that will allow you to get incredibly close to the big game, and teach you all about the bush: a real privilege and a thrill.

Head south to Hermanus today for a three night stay, maybe travelling via the Winelands.

This itinerary is perfect during our Summer months as the Kruger and Escarpment areas are nice and dry and you get the chance to go whale watching in Hermanus (June to November), which is famed for having the best land-based whale watching in the world as well as visiting the colourful Cape Town. Three nights in the Kruger is the ultimate way to start your time in South Africa, you head out each day into the bush to see what close encounters await with Africa’s big game. From here you head to the Escarpment and the stunning vistas of the area. Cape Town is a world-class city with an amazing location, superb hotels and a great vibe, and should be the cornerstone of any visit to South Africa. The finale is Hermanus with chances to see southern-right whales and maybe going shark cage diving (if you are brave enough).

3 nights Kruger Safari – 3 nights Escarpment – 3 nights Cape Town – 2 nights Hermanus
