In the heart of vibrant Tamboerskloof, at the foot of Table Mountain, stands this contemporary boutique hotel. It is 5 historical houses that have been combined to create one unique and stylish hotel. There are little nooks to enjoy some tranquil moments, you can look at some of the contemporary artworks dotted around the hotel as well as 2 small pools (one on the rooftop), so although there are 47 rooms, 3 restaurants, a spa and a reception area, there’s plenty of space to make it feel like a much smaller property whilst still having the facilities of a larger hotel. It is an easy and safe stroll to an array of trendy shops, award winning restaurants, cafes and bars so eating out in the evening could not be easier (as long as you like food that is organic, artisan or locally sourced served to you by a youth with a designer beard). Joking aside, this is a great place to stay that is fantastic value for money in the heart of the urban and trendy Cape Town. Oh and don’t forget to savour a sundowner on the rooftop bar with its panoramic views of the city and Table Mountain.
