The most comfortable and convenient place to stay in Trujillo, the Libertador enjoys a prime location facing the cathedral on the city’s main square (Plaza de Armas). Its 73 rooms are set in a converted colonial mansion which still retains some period features in the communal areas, and there is a small outdoor pool set in a pleasant courtyard. Other facilities include a gym, bar and restaurant but the advantage of a stay here is also being able to explore Trujillo’s other dining options on foot.
