Small and quirky Casa San Blas is a charming boutique hotel, tucked away down a narrow cobbled street in the lively San Blas artisan District. With bags of character, friendly staff and wonderful views, the hotel provides a memorable base for your time in Cusco. You will sometimes hear some noise from the neighbouring music school practising in the mornings, but the communal areas by the hotel’s entrance and on the terrace are particularly attractive, and the internal courtyard makes a lovely breakfast spot. Although some rooms could do with a bit of an update and feature artistic touches which may not be to everyone’s taste, the unique setting of the hotel and its independent ownership does give you the feel of staying somewhere completely individual in Cusco (and for a very appealing price tag).
