As tourism really took off in Oman in the early 21st century, The Chedi was the first of a wave of new, luxury hotels and remains one of the most sophisticated and stylishly designed hotels in the country. Low-rise buildings house clusters of large, Arabian influenced and very comfortable rooms, whilst pathways wend between the traditionally-styled buildings, amidst the beautiful gardens and down to one of the three pools or the beach. Dining is either a fine and formal affair at The Restaurant, or a tasty and more casual at one of the cafés or lounges by the pools and beach. The Chedi is definitely one for those who love a bit of style and the finer things in life.
