Al Bandar, meaning “town” has been modelled on Muscat, with crenelated walls, pointed arch windows and pretty balconies, which really give the hotel a sense of place. Most of the restaurants and general resort facilities are to be found here and the lazy river connects Al Bandar’s pools with those of Al Waha. Rooms are spacious, with views towards the sea, and have been decorated in a modern style with hints of Arabian architecture.
