Located just inside the walls of the old medina, and with views up towards the Borj Nord and down over the city, Riad Maison Bleue is in three interconnected 19th Century houses that played host to a notable judge and theologian, and an eminent philosopher. Recently restored, the courtyards abound with intricate woodwork, delicate tiles and ornate plastering: a highly traditional Moroccan finish, combined with an eclectic and stylish selection of furnishings. Having breakfast or dinner on one of the terraces, with the lush trees and creepers of the courtyards below you and Fez spread out around you, is one of the real pleasures of time at Riad Maison Bleue; as is the chance to learn how to make your breakfast or dinner at their cookery school!
