Palatial and historic, Riad Kniza is owned by one of Marrakesh’s foremost guides; his appreciation of Morocco’s architectural heritage has enabled him, with the help of dedicated craftsmen, well-skilled in traditional techniques, to faithfully recreate a Moorish-Andalusian palace. Displaying excellent examples of the carved plasterwork, painted ceilings, intricate metalwork and colourful, detailed tiling typical of “high” Moroccan style, the riad is a must for those with an appreciation of opulence.
