Situated in the royal district of the medina named the Kasbah, Riad Hikaya is just a 15-minute walk from Jemaa el-Fna square. Boasting two roof terraces with beautiful lemon, pomegranate and grapefruit trees, Riad Hikaya is a lovely retreat. Hikaya is Arabic for story and you really feel a story is being told throughout the riad.

The English owner, who has designed the interiors has combined an eclectic mix of styles gathered throughout his travel making the riad feel totally unique. Expect every one of the eight bedrooms to be filled with pattern, textures and all the colours of the souk. Hikaya also has a lovely hammam and in-house masseuse if your senses need a break, and after you can rest of the sun terrace or take a dip in the heated pool.
