Pedal your way around this magical city and see Kyoto’s streets from a different perspective. Navigate the maze-like alleyways, observe daily life, possibly even glimpse the local Geisha or maiko in the famous Gion neighbourhood.
Your journey will take you along narrow lanes, lined with machiya – traditional wooden houses that look like they have been plucked from the Kyoto of a hundred years ago. The Shirakawa canal, flanked by weeping willows, is a charming stretch of restaurants and teahouses that stays peaceful throughout the day. After a few hours of taking in the sights, ride around the Imperial Palace Park before returning the bikes to the depot.
