The Louisbourg Harbour Inn is a gorgeous B&B that offers all the comforts of home in a fantastic setting. It is located close to the harbour-front of this delightful fishing town, steps away from the all the goings-on of the wharf and just a mile away from the historic Fortress. The building is a converted sea captain’s house and the warmth of the Maritimes seeps through the whole property, from the welcome you receive on arrival to the cosy furnishings and antique furniture in the guest rooms. Most of the rooms have harbour views, but for those that don’t there is a large guest balcony on the second floor which has fantastic views towards the Fortress and ocean. Breakfast is served in a sunny breakfast room, also with ocean views and the innkeepers will ensure have everything you need for your stay.

The Louisbourg Playhouse, which is just next door, offers traditional island music every evening (June to October) and is a great experience for those staying in the area.
