For us a “classic” trip is one that incorporates the major highlights, but also allows a little time for relaxation and includes one or two lesser-known destinations or activities to give you a more rounded experience of Canada. The western side of the country offers a combination of grand landscapes and essential Canadian wildlife viewing, but there are also opportunities to wander off the beaten track and experience the beautiful wilderness that the country is also famous for. For classic Canadian culture then the east is the ideal place to immerse yourself the sea-faring lifestyle of the Maritimes or the French-influenced vibrancy of the cities. However, what could be more classically Canadian than a trip up the CN Tower or a visit to Niagara Falls? It’s such a big country, choose carefully where you start!
