Huntsville is located in the heart of Ontario’s Muskoka region and serves as a great base for a variety of activities. Just outside the town, Arrowhead Provincial Park offers several walking trails and the sandy, beach-fringed Arrowhead Lake. Further afield, the Algonquin Park Gate is about a 30-minute drive away, with the visitor centre located an hour away, making it easy to access the park for a day trip.

At the Muskoka Boating and Heritage Centre in nearby Gravenhurst, you can learn more about this tradition and even take a cruise on a traditional steamship. About an hour west, Parry Sound boasts beautiful scenery and offers water-based activities such as canoeing, kayaking, swimming, and scenic cruises among the islands and narrow passages of the Sound.
