The Emperor’s Palace is a casino complex located by Johannesburg O. R. Tambo International Airport, and D’Oreale Gande is one of the onsite hotels. With regular, short shuttle bus journeys to the airport, it is ideal for a one-night stopover if you have to spend the night between flights to and from Johannesburg. The hotel is palatial in style, with lots of marble, chandeliers and frescos; the rooms are more subdued in their décor, but still luxurious and classical. There are a number of restaurants at the hotel, and of course the fun of the casino is right on your doorstep.
