Peru’s most exclusive Amazon cruise vessel, the Delfin I features just four luxurious suites and superb attention to detail throughout. The vessel was one of the first quality ships to begin offering river cruises from Iquitos some 20 years ago, but an extensive refurbishment reduced capacity on board to just eight passengers, meaning the experience on board is now highly intimate and personalised. Two Master suites are located on the second deck and feature king-sized beds, panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows and their own private terraces. The two Deluxe suites are situated on the main deck and offer similar dimensions and amenities to the master suites, but also have their own plunge pool on the terrace. In addition to a classic programme of boat trips and jungle walks to discover the flora and fauna of the Amazon, the Delfin I also offers some exclusive experiences not currently offered elsewhere, such as stand-up paddle-boarding and a guided nature walk along a rainforest canopy walkway.
