The newest accommodation in the renowned Mushara Collection, the Bush Camp offers classic safari tented accommodation with a distinctly down-to-earth character. There are 17 tented rooms, with wood and local limestone adding a solid feel to the canvas structures, and en-suite bathrooms with showers that have views out to the bush. Combined with the secure, enclosed nature of the tents, four of them also have sleeper couches that can accommodate up to two children, making this the most family-friendly of tented safari accommodations. Each of the rooms has a private veranda, but the camp tends to be a very sociable place, with a campfire lit outside the main lodge each evening so that guests can share wildlife stories after dinner.

The family theme is maintained throughout, with games, books, toys, child minders, an outside play area and a children’s swimming pool all provided for younger guests, in addition to the larger pool, comfortable sofas and welcoming bar for grown-ups! The camp is ideal for self-drive safaris, but the guided activities into Etosha are excellent, and will often be tailored to suit the varying attention spans of different generations.
