Etosha Safari Camp is one of our favourite self-drive options in central Etosha; only 10kms from the Andersson gate, so guests can be in the park nice and early to see the action unfold. We wouldn’t describe it as dripping with luxury, but the facilities are more than sufficient for a two or three night stay and it is a really friendly and welcoming place to stay – perfect in particular for families.

Accommodation is split between 50 chalets dotted throughout the grounds, each with ensuite bathroom and air-conditioning. There is a pool and a lively restaurant and bar at the lodge, which are the perfect place to swap stories of game-sightings around the campfire!
