Thistledown is a beautiful, traditional B&B located in North Vancouver. The 1920s heritage listed building has been restored to create welcoming and comfortable accommodation, with many hand-crafted furnishings and artwork from all over the world. Each room features rich wood furniture and has an olde worlde romance about it, however, each has its own character created by the individual décor and unique aspect. The property is surrounded by lawns and shady trees and inside there are several reading nooks and a comfortable lounge. Guests can enjoy a delicious, home-made breakfast and afternoon tea each day, which are often good times to catch up with fellow guests.
Thistledown is just a 20 minute drive from the Horseshoe Bay ferry terminal and right next to the Capilano River and famous Capilano Suspension Bridge and Park, one of Vancouver’s top attractions. It is therefore a fantastic option for anyone who wants to explore this part of Vancouver, or for those who would simply rather not stay in the central city.
