Alpine Meadows is about a 40-minute drive from Clearwater, in a tranquil location on the edge of Hallamore Lake and surrounded by forest. The resort has a number of log cabins spread around the grounds, each offering style and comfort in natural surroundings. Ranging from simple suites to fully self-catering log homes, all rooms have en suite bathroom facilities and a deck area with views. The two- and three-bedroom log homes are particularly good for families.

Being located in such a pristine area, the focus of the resort is on enjoying the great outdoors, and here you will find endless hiking and cycling trails, boat, kayak, and fishing equipment rental, and an outdoor BBQ and picnic area. There is also an indoor play area for those not-so-perfect weather days, offering indoor games, ping-pong, and seating areas for relaxing. The Boathouse Restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner (reservations required), offering West Coast-inspired dining options, and the lakeside patio is the perfect place to soak up the ambiance of the surrounding landscape.

Please note that the last 20 km (about 30 minutes) of the drive to Alpine Meadows is along a compact gravel road.
