This floatplane tour is one of the most memorable ways to see Whistler’s mountain landscape. After a short transfer to Green Lake, the plane takes off from the water and climbs straight towards Garibaldi Provincial Park. The views open up almost immediately, with glacier filled valleys, volcanic peaks and bright turquoise lakes spread out below. It’s the kind of scenery that’s hard to appreciate from the ground, and the flight gives you a real sense of the scale and wildness of the area.
The route loops past some of the park’s most dramatic terrain before circling back towards Whistler, giving you a bird’s eye view of the ski runs, the twin mountains and the village itself. It’s a short trip but a very special one, and a great choice for travellers who want to see the region from a completely different perspective.
